Blank Slate

In this work I explored brutalist architecture, and my discomfort towards it. I found that the buildings photographed had brilliant shapes and geometric stature, however I couldn’t help but alter them for my own comfort. I printed the Images on neon coloured paper as I felt they didn’t distract from the shapes but also brought a feeling of being overwhelmed, adding a sense of being bombarded by concrete or rather colour.
